REPTILES (Youth Tent, K)
Steve Pivin of Ecosymbiose in Cowansville will bring a vast assortment of creatures to T-Day, including geckos, a crocodile monitor, an iguana, various insects, and a 10-foot-long Burmese Python named Gandolph. A commemorative photo with Gandolph will be offered for a small fee ($2).
BACKYARD WILDLIFE (Youth Tent, K)
Holly Bockus from Earthvalues Institute will introduce Wildlife Gaining Ground, a program which encourages people to invite wildlife into their backyards by planting trees or creating ponds. Bockus will also bring an exhibit of animals common to the Eastern Townships, including a great horned owl, various birds, and rodents. She will offer activities such as fossil-making, print-making, and Mixture Madness experiments.
CLIMBING WALL (near Youth Tent, K)
Kevin Craft's older brother Chris is a Leader in the Bedford Scouts Movement, who will operate a climbing wall in collaboration with Scouts Canada. Professionals will be on site to provide assistance and offer coaching to anyone who wants to try climbing. A small fee ($2) will be requested.
STORYTELLING (near Youth Tent, K)
Grampa Bob: Bea Santori, the organiser of the Storytelling Festival in West Brome, will tell stories to anyone who visits his tent during the day, located near the Youth Tent.
YOUTH THEATRE (Youth Tent, K)
The Stanbridge East Youth Group will perform Star Search, an improvised theatre piece at 11 a.m. in the Youth Tent. The group is led by Becky Blinn and assisted by actress Emma Stevens.
TOWNSHIPPERS' IDOL / VEDETTE D'UN JOUR (Youth Tent, K)
The inaugural Townshippers' Idol karaoke contest will be emceed by Kevin Craft. Based on the popular American Idol and Canadian Idol television shows, this special T-Day edition will showcase the talents of teens from local youth centres. A preliminary round will take place in the Youth Tent (K) from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the final will take place on the Entertainment Stage (1) at 3 p.m. Judges: Emma Stevens, Hank Avery and Bill Jarand.
TAM-TAM WORKSHOP (near Centre Georges-Perron, A)
At 3:30 p.m., at the Centre Georges Perron (outside - weather permitting). (See Wellness for All Ages for description.)
FACE PAINTING, CRAFTS AND MORE (Centre Georges-Perron, G)
In the Georges-Perron Centre, Le Centre de la petite enfance Les Pommettes Rouges and Karen Smith will present children's activities.
Please note that this is not a babysitting service. An adult should accompany children.
MOTHERS/BABIES CORNER (Centre Georges-Perron, G)
A quiet corner for nursing, changing, resting.
PETTING ZOO (near Centre Georges-Perron, G)
The Animalerie Bedford offers a small animal petting zoo situated near the children's activity area.

FAUNE DANS SA COUR (Activit�s pour les ados, K)
Holly Bockus, Institut Earthvalues, pr�sentera le projet Wildlife Gaining Ground qui vise � inciter les gens � inviter des animaux sauvages dans leur cour, en plantant des arbres ou en cr�ant un �tang. Holly apportera aussi des sp�cimens d'animaux naturalis�s communs dans les Cantons-de-l'Est, dont un Grand-duc d'Am�rique ainsi que divers oiseaux et rongeurs. Elle offrira des activit�s telles que la fabrication de fossiles, la gravure de planches de reproduction et des exp�riences de m�langes fous.
MUR D'ESCALADE (Activit�s pour les ados, K)
Chris Craft, fr�re a�n� de Kevin Craft, est chef du Bedford Scouts Movement. Il g�rera un mur d'escalade en collaboration avec Scouts Canada. Des professionnels seront sur place afin d'apporter leur aide et des conseils � ceux qui voudront essayer de grimper. Un petit montant de 2 $ est exig�.
MINIFESTIVAL DU CONTE (Activit�s pour les ados, K)
