Be a Part of Townshippers’ Day!      

Townshippers’ Day is a feature festival attracting 2,500 to 5,000 visitors each year. That’s a lot of people to introduce your organization or business to, as well as network and share information with! New vendors are always welcome! For grassroots organizations, T-Day is a great occasion to conduct fundraising. Are you taking the opportunity to be a part of it all?  All the forms needed to register for T-Day are posted on this page. Want to register but don’t know which category you fit into? Please note that tables are limited and booked on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Festival Registration and Fees – 2016

Exhibitor fees vary according to the nature of the exhibit and the space required. Be sure to indicate your needs when registering. Priority is given to local exhibitors. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own table (+ table cloth). Rentals – tables and electricity:  If you are unable bring your own table, tables can be rented (two chairs will be included), you should still bring your own table cloth. Electrical hookups can also be rented (bring your own extension cord).

Fees

Registration is completed once payment is processed. Payment may be made via cash (only in person), money order or cheque payable to Townshippers’ Association. Cheques should be dated the day the entry form is submitted. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Registration: Submit, Fax, Mail or Deliver

Entry forms may be faxed, mailed or delivered in person to Townshippers’ Association, 100 – 257 Queen, Sherbrooke QC J1M 1K7. Choose from the following two methods to complete registration.

1→ Download and print – Right click beside the applicable category and select “Save As” to download Complete the form in its entirety, then deliver or mail to Townshippers’ Association’s offices, 100 – 257 Queen,Sherbrooke QC J1M 1K7 or fax to 819-566-0217.

2→ Online registration. New this year, registration for the festival may be completed entirely online!

Artisans & the Arts Market:

July 25: Artisans spaces are now full! Any entries that are received by mail will be added to the waiting list. Thank you for your interest! 

The Townships is home to many talented artisans who specialize in a wide array of amazing art and creative crafts. Discover them all at Townshippers’ Day! Artisans requiring electrical access should supply their own extension cord and note electrical/table needs with your registration form. On the day of the event, artisan set up will start at 7 a.m. and must be completed by 9 a.m.  All late-comers will be turned away.

Community/Non-profit Groups & Services:

Community/non-profit organizations of all shapes and sizes participate in Townshippers’ Day by presenting activities or displays about their group. These displays help visitors learn more about what resources are available in the region and present an opportunity to network with the community and other similar organizations. On the day of the event, set up will start at 7 a.m. and must be completed by 9 a.m.  All late-comers will be turned away.

Food Vendors:

Non-profit organizations or service groups who are experienced with organizing lunches or suppers, can register to provide food services at T-Day as a fundraiser for their organization. Private enterprises are also welcome. Food vendors provide the crowds with picnic lunches, hot and cold food, as well as a variety of healthy and ethnic foods, throughout the day. With thousands of visitors on site, the day will help the vendors with their fundraising ventures!

Vendors are selected based on a variety of factors including menu quality, variety, needs etc. Keep in mind the festival takes place outdoors. T-Day is an eco-aware event, and vendors are required to participate in composting, recycling and other green programs by agreeing to use green products and to minimize garbage during the day. 

On the day of the event, set up will start at 7 a.m. and must be completed by 10 a.m.  All late-comers will be turned away.

Historical Societies:

History and heritage groups from around the Townships work hard to preserve our colourful and dynamic past. A special section has been designated for them to set up a display on Townshippers’ Day and share information about themselves and their activities. There is no fee however pre-registration is required. Historical groups are invited to add their special flair to the day by showcasing unique items or by arriving in period costume. On the day of the event, set up will start at 7 a.m. and must be completed by 9 a.m.  All late-comers will be turned away.

Townshippers @ Work:

Looking to network or share career related information? The Townshippers @ Work section has been created for business organizations or educational institutions of all sizes to showcase their educational, training and career opportunities to visitors. On the day of the event, set up will start at 7 a.m. and must be completed by 9 a.m.  All late-comers will be turned away.

 

Entertainers:  Closed_EN

Sing, dance or a have a great act you’d like to share with the community? T-Day has long been known as a place to showcase regional talent. All types of entertainment, from choirs to dance troupes and a variety of other performances, are welcome to entertain the crowds, and sell some merchandise on the side! Since Townshippers’ main objective is to promote local entertainment, particularly entertainers from within the English-speaking community, we ask that performers come from (or be residents of) the Eastern Townships. Priority is given to entertainers from the areas surrounding the host site. Buskers, Troubadours & Family Friendly Acts are invited to perform through the day around the festival site. There is no fee to participate and entertainers will benefit from publicity before, during and after T-Day.
