Lots to do!

Children’s Activities
Kids will have plenty to keep themselves occupied and amused on T-Day, so be sure to bring them to:
• The Kiddie Corner, where they can tie-dye T-shirts, gets their faces painted, and participate in a bunch of arts & crafts activities.
• The Animal Corner with Ben Cunnington, where they can meet and greet a wide range of barnyard animals, including bunnies, chickens, a pony and an alpaca!
• Free wagon rides around the Fairgrounds!
• Inflatables

Youth Activities
Not to be left out, the youth of the Townships will have their hands full at Townshippers’ Day 2009! Some of the activities they can check out on the big day are:
• Exhibits in the Youth Building, featuring job opportunities, artisans and groups from Champlain Regional College – Lennoxville and Bishop’s University.
• A baseball game in the afternoon, featuring a team from Virgin, CHOM and CJAD radio stations in Montreal and a local team from Ayer’s Cliff.

Seniors’ Activities
With the Main Building of the Fairgrounds set aside for them, Townships seniors will have an absolute bundle of fun and informative things to do. Here are just some of the events lined up for them:
• Door prizes with health items
• Old Tyme music by The Castaways
• Exercise class with the Flame
• Music by Janice Graham of Sawyerville
• Glucose testing by Diabète Estrie

Don’t Forget…
Everyone, young and old, can participate in many of the T-Day activities. Sentiers Massawippi will be hosting two walks on the Tomifobia Nature Trail: one with information on the beautiful surroundings, and another featuring local history (exact times TBA). Also, be sure to swing by the Ayer’s Cliff Library, at the corner of Main & Tyler streets (just turn left out of the Fairgrounds). The Library will be open for the duration of T-Day, featuring a used book sale and an array of fascinating historical documents from the town.
