Directions to Townshippers' Day 2011 in Stanstead
- From the North (Autoroute 55)
Take Autoroute 55 South to Exit 2 (first exit for Stanstead). Make a right at the end of the ramp, onto Fairfax. Proceed to stop sign, and make a left onto Dufferin St. Note Dufferin St is also route 143. Travel approximately 1.5km, and make a left onto Park St.
- From the North (Route 143)
Take 143 South towards Stanstead. When you arrive in Stanstead at the stop sign, make a right (onto Fairfax) and go over the bridge (Autoroute 55). Proceed to stop sign, and make a left onto Dufferin St. Note Dufferin St is also route 143. Travel approximately 1.5km, and make a left onto Park St.
- From the South (Vermont I-91)
Take I-91 North to the border crossing. Once through Canada Customs, make a left at the traffic light (onto Blvd Nortre Dame Ouest). Travel down into town (past stone circle), and make a right at the stop sign, onto Dufferin. Go up the hill, and about 1 km. Turn right onto Park St.
- From the South (Vermont US Route 5)
Take Route 5 north to the border crossing. Once through Canada Customs, proceed straight to stop sign. Continue straight up hill and about 1 km. Turn right onto Park St.
- From the West (Route 247)
From Fitch Bay area, take route 247 to Stanstead (Beebe sector). Proceed down rue Principale (route 247) and remain on it as it turns left onto rue Canusa. Remain on this road (still 247) until you reach the 4 way intersection (247/143) in the Rock Island sector (about 5 minutes). Make a left onto route 143 (Dufferin)Continue straight up hill and about 1 km. Turn right onto Park St.
